A Multi-Modal Learning Ecosystem for Inclusive Leadership

The Story

In a luxury global enterprise environment, fostering a culture of inclusion requires more than a set of policies; it requires a transformation of the human experience. My challenge was to translate complex, sensitive topics like identity, cultural values, and the mechanics of trust into a learning journey that felt safe, sophisticated, and deeply personal. I needed to ensure this message was accessible to a diverse workforce of over 10,000 associates, ranging from executive leadership to frontline facilities teams.

The Approach

To solve for both scale and deep personal engagement, I architected a three-tiered "Systems" strategy:

  • Interactive Digital Learning: I developed high-end, self-paced modules in Articulate Rise 360. These utilized interactive tools like "Social Identity Wheels" and "Cultural Icebergs" to guide learners through meaningful self-reflection.

  • Multimedia Integration: To reach associates without regular desk access, I produced a video-based version of the curriculum. This ensured the core message was delivered through high-quality visual storytelling, maintaining engagement across all learning styles.

  • The Facilitator Framework: I designed a Leader Learning Companion—a comprehensive "Systems" guide that empowered managers to lead their own 40-minute group sessions. This included pre-session checklists, precise delivery sequences, and scripts for navigating tough conversations and bridging differences.

The Results

The result was a comprehensive, award-winning learning ecosystem that provided multiple entry points into cultural growth. By designing for the human experience, we empowered individuals to share their values and identities, turning technical training into a catalyst for team cohesion and trust. This project demonstrated that a well-structured system, when built with soul, can drive measurable behavioral change across a massive global organization.
